Looks like you took this data from a page where rewards for the blue card are compared with those for the legacy black card.

Much of the information on Curve’s website is very out of date

Do you know where the metal rewards are stated. I can’t find it on the website.

I also can not find a dedicated page on the Metal reward merchants. In the support pages I did find this page:

From the info here it looks safe to assume that the first merchants in your opening post can be chosen by blue, black or metal.
The last merchants (below the sentence Curve Black (£50) cardholders also have the option to choose) can only be chosen by black or metal.
