Transactions Accepted then declined!

I am a new member and I’m a bit confused!

Today I made my first transaction. Went through, notification came up, all good!

Next transaction, it went through, receipt issued, and then the app said declined 5 minutes after I had left the store.

Next transaction, same as above.

Called HSBC and they said it was shown as authorised on their system and could see the transaction had gone through.

I’d really appreciate some clarification on what’s going on here.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to see the specific transactions here so wouldn’t want to advise a specific reason! Could you raise a support ticket in-app or send an email to support@curve.app and our team will be able to look into it for you :slightly_smiling_face:

Same problem here through this last month. It’s not a big problem as the transaction was accepted, but it takes some days to Curve app to register it in the card selected in that moment. What I do later is ‘go back in time’ to apply it in the card I wanted when I did the original purchase.

Thanks guys. I did contact support and they explained about pre-auth’s.

In my naïveté, I was basically worried that I was stealing!
