All my transactions associated to my Ing (Italy) credit card (Mastercard) at physical shops are refused. Can someone explain me why?

I’ve been having same issue with ING (Spain).
Curve support response is to contact ING - transactions are being declined as suspected fraud.
Bit annoying as this means having to phone ING and sit on hold!
