I notice under the SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES section of the travel insurance that all of the activities are not covered “if your participation in them is the sole or main reason for your trip”.
I understand that for things like road cycling or diving, that you can go somewhere with the main reason being that it is a holiday (on which you happen to take part in those activities). However, with the example of skiing, it tends to be the main/sole reason for the trip when people take part.
What’s the point in claiming to cover something which is clearly excluded in the vast majority of cases? Surely this is misleading?
